About the board game
We understand that right now is a stressful time for everyone. We at The Tomorrow Project realize that your child may need a fun project to work on that does not involve too much screen time or bouncing around the house. While stuck at home we would love to aid you in immersing your curious child in some fun environment-related activities to unleash their inner Ecowarrior. By clicking the link below, you will be directed to a PDF game board that you can print out or used digitally. We encourage your child to make this board game their own by coloring it in and adding their own artistic flair.
This board game allows your child to explore different biomes and make environmentally conscious choices that pertain to the protection of these biomes. Each square on the board is labeled with the name of a certain biome. Attached below are sheets that have some information about each biome and a list of tasks that your child can do in order to advance on these squares (You will not need to print these sheets). Some of these activities require various “real world” actions, like planting a vegetable. We designed this board game to be accessible for all children and understand that some of these activities may not available for your family to engage in. That’s why we provided you and your child with many different types of achievable activities. Each task is worth a certain number of points and once that task is completed, the said number of squares can be crossed off in the given section. Your child will then make it across the board by crossing off the spaces that they have completed.
Once this board game is finished, have your child write their name on the board, and then take a picture of it and submit it in the form below. Once we receive your completed game board, we will send you and your child a certificate naming them an ‘Ecowarrior’ and recognizing their completion of the game. Additionally, if you send in the picture before July 20th, your Ecowarrior will be entered into a raffle for a Tomorrow Project T-shirt!
